Any families with children at ESK can voluntarily become members simply by <a href=\"https:\/\/v1.esk-eltern.de\/en\/join\/\">paying the annual membership<\/a> fee of \u20ac30 per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a member and, therefore, part of the PA, you support the European School Karlsruhe through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Projects for the children during the annual &#8220;Project Weeks&#8221;,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other projects that take place in year groups or across sections throughout Nursery, Primary, and Secondary school,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/v1.esk-eltern.de\/en\/services-category\/summer-fest\/\">annual summer fest<\/a> and other festivals that are organized by the PA Committee (PAC),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/v1.esk-eltern.de\/en\/services-category\/social-funds\/\">Social funds<\/a> made available to families for school trips and class trips in cases of financial hardship,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financial support for school trips and excursions,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/v1.esk-eltern.de\/en\/services-category\/kangaroo-of-mathematics\/\">Kangaroo Maths<\/a> competition in the Primary school<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Book prizes for the students with the best marks in each class in Secondary school each year,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prizes for the Baccalaureate students with the best results each year,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and much, much more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These points are financed in whole or in part from your membership fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thank you very much for that!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, you are, of course, also welcome to become a more active member of the PA and have a direct impact on your child&#8217;s school life.<br>The active, elected members of the PAC <a href=\"https:\/\/v1.esk-eltern.de\/en\/about-the-evk\/whos-who\/\">(Who&#8217;s Who?)<\/a> meet twice a month, on the first and third Wednesday evenings<br>You can find out more about the content of these meetings and arrange to have a look by contacting kar-ev@partner.eursc.eu<br>We are happy to involve more interested parents in the PAC and to keep everyone up-to-date on the progress and development of the school.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/v1.esk-eltern.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/group-2351896-329x329.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1284\"\/><\/figure><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the Parents\u00b4Association The Parents&#8217; Association (PA) is registered non-profit association consisting of parents from ESK.
